Top 5 MUST DO before you die

The top 5 must do before you die.. sounds scary right? This is based on my opinion so please, feel free to disagree with this list.

1. Go to an African Lion Safari.
- I don't know about you but I know many people have said they plan to go to an african lion safari but the furthest they've ever went is to a local zoo with animals struggling behind a cage. There is nothing as exciting, scary and amazing as seeing the animals ... breathe on you. Imagine having dinner with your significant other and his or her parents.. What happens when the conversation dies and you're scared you are about to loose your "cool"?, I can't think of anything better than whipping up a story of when you stood side by side an elephant and other animals and I promise you'll be sure to get a kick out of it. Go to an African Safari, make it a dinner table topic & you'll love every bit of it.

2. Go Sky Diving
- This is scary for many people afraid of heights or anything that has to do with "falling". Throughout my childhood years, I was the only one in my family with the guts to go on rides at "Canada's wonderland" which was mainly because of my family being afraid to die. Sky diving is the greatest of all. If a person is able to accomplish a task like sky diving, there is nothing they cannot accomplish. That is the riskiest of all risky and the highest of all highest. Want to go on the tallest ride in wonderland? .. but you've gone skydiving so that's childish. Asked to go on the CN tower top walk? ... obviously not because It'll be nothing and boring compared to skydiving. After going skydiving, there really is nothing else to accomplish in terms of height, or rides and you've just reached the top. LITERALLY.

3. Try Foods/Drinks at their Origin
- This is as fancy as it gets. Personally I love tea but I feel like my life will not be complete until I visit England & sip tea as I shake the hands of the queen... then to make things better, I want pizza at Italy to end things off, I want to cross my legs at Ethiopia drinking coffee. YOU READY??

4. Visit the White House
- Imagine.. walking into the White House all fierce & all giving president Obama a high-five. The White House is something that is very special.. something to talk about... Something different. It's not just a regular house.. it's the goddamn white house. I think in about 10 years I must book a trip to go to Washington & get a tour of the White House. It's like playing that game "two truths & one lie" where someone has to guess which is the lie but in reality they'll choose "fought a lion" as the truth over "visiting the white house". It just never happens! (So make it happen)

5. Eat something that's still alive
- This sounds disgusting i know.. but seriously, suck it up & eat it! Hahaha, that sounds horrible. I haven't done this and I think everyone should join me one day to do it. Let's eat something live. A live moving crab ;) live squid ;) or maybe a live fish... GROSSSSSSSS but do it because why not? You'll throw up after but heck, it's another "dinner time story"

Now try all these & get back to me ASAP! Got any other ideas? Let me know!
PS: Yes, I will definitely do everything before I die & i'll keep you updated ;)

Much Love,

Janey <3

City Of Sleeping Bags

Hey Everyone!
it has been a while.. I know... :( I've been super busy! Now, what have I been busy with? Let me begin:
I, along side Katharine Heng & Josephine Mathias started a Non-Profit organization to help the homeless downtown Toronto. Our goal is to raise about $5,000 and to purchase 100 sleeping bags including necessities for the homeless. So far we have reached about 86% of our goal which is 4,300+ & this is just so amazing. I can go on & on & on about what it's about & what we do but instead, I can give you all a great read on different articles we were featured on.

My roommates at their best behaviour #DECAU

Here's a short clip of my DECA Roomates & I getting ready for dinner! I wish i could show you all the videos but honestly... they will be better off private hahaha #blackmail.

Have you tried turning it OFF & ON?

Ever had something not working and you call for help & the first thing they say is "have you tried turning it on or off" & you just flip out because you think they think you're stupid and it's such an obvious thing to do..

Well long story short, my sister's macbook was heating up & then it basically sounded like something was about to blow up & since then, her laptop shut down & didn't turn on or even flash anything. It didn't even charge. She tried to turn it off & on for about 2 days & nothing worked. (Fixing a burnt out battery is $100 at apple).. anyways, for the entire 1 month winter break she couldn't use her laptop.  She left it sitting in her room & just stared at it with anger. After the break she obviously need the laptop working for school so she took it to apple with $100 ready to fix it. Right away the tech guy asked "have you tried turning it on" & she flipped out saying "obviously i did.. blah blah blah" & guess what? With a single push of a button her laptop turned on & was working perfectly.

Apple laptops have this defence mechanism where it shuts down the system for 2 days whenever something is happening that threatens the battery or any internal system. After 2 days all you have to do is simply turn it on.

Moral of the story?.. did you really turn it off & on? Oh & apple is DA BOMB.
