We all have Apple
Iphones right? well most of us. Let me rephrase it.. most "cool"
people do.
okay, back to the letter..
Dear Apple,
You should really come up with two logins for the IPhones. It’ll be nice
to have a different log in for myself as well as someone like my little brother
who likes playing games on my phone. This way, he wouldn’t end up messing
anything up and all my info or data will not be there therefore he can download
his own data on this new page. But really.. think about it, what big sister
would like her 6 year old brother to run into pictures from last nights party..
Epic scar for the kid.
There are many times parents want to use their teen's phone & of course, we're a bit icky about that because according to them, we are all well put together christian children who goes to bible studies every weekend... NOT!! Back to the point, It’ll work out because they’ll have the login for that alternative page.
For my fellow business people, you know who you are! We can log into our business section based on business contacts, pictures and more serious apps while another is just social media and maybe a picture of that hot girl in a bikini butttt we will not get to that. Someone should let apple know this. I’m seriously tired of always triple checking my phone after someone (little brother or his friends) play with it in case they delete something important. It’ll be like the Macbook with separate logins! This time, it’ll be the iPhone with separate pass codes. The pass code you enter in the lock screen will take to you where that passcode is for :) Just a silly idea haha.

PS: IF THIS IDEA IS ALREADY DONE... Ignore the entire letter and
continue on with your lives.
Love, Janey!
What about Samsung?
ReplyDeleteI think that would take up too much storage and since 16GB is barely enough space for an average iPhone user, they would have to opt for twice that much storage when purchasing a phone. This will mean that you are likely to pay more for a phone than you would today. With all that money being spent for a multi-user phone, your brother might as well get an iPod or his own phone.
ReplyDeleteYou're right but the same space used to share with my little brother will be the same even with multiple logins considering the fact that it'll be the same, just on different pages. Getting him a iPod WILL solve that issue but it'll definetely not help with other issues such as parents, organization, privacy... Etc! But as I said, silly ideas :)
DeleteAgreed. Privacy is what apple lacks. Biggest problem with apple is what info they have about their users. The new keychain screams broken privacy. Anyways, great blog!
DeleteThere are some apps that you can us, like the one I am using is called Files. I has both real and decoy passcodes and the good thing about this is that it takes a photo every time you attempt to unlock the app.
ReplyDeleteIs this available in the apple store? Or is this a general app?
DeleteNot to brag or start a war here. But Android, Windows phone, and blackberry's already do this.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it would be nice to have seperate logins for me and my parnets so they won't be looking at my pics or anything personal/privite thats for myself. You would make an excellent company starter. :)
